Guide To True Abundance

True abundance has nothing to do with what we have. It has everything to do with whom we choose to be. There is an abundance of money and resources—a never-ending supply. It is only unwillingness to receive that makes these things hard to obtain.

Abundance, prosperity, and wealth are always available to you, but you have to choose to make yourself available to them.

Are you willing to receive and to claim, own, and acknowledge that you are worthy of abundance, prosperity, and wealth?

Choice Creates Awareness

Choice is the way to navigate change. Every choice you make creates awareness and determines what your future can be. Whenever you make a choice—any choice—recognise what limitations and possibilities are being generated with that choice.

When you follow your knowing, you are aware whether your choice will be expansive and create more possibilities or contractive and create limitation for you and everyone else.

Why it is crucial to know the difference between Choice and Decision!

Is there a difference between choice and decision? In our view there certainly is.

Though the words are often used interchangeably, there's a major difference between the two. According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, decision is the act of or need for making up one’s mind, it comes from “cutting off”, a report of a conclusion. Choice is the opportunity or power to choose between two or more possibilities, it comes from “to perceive.”

In business and in life, we make numerous choices: they are either conscious or unconscious.  Making choices is a critical part of every entrepreneur's job.  What most people do is try to figure out what the right decision is going to be. They try to figure it out logically to make sure that nothing will go wrong if they finally make this decision. But it doesn’t work that way. We have to choose in order to have the awareness of what our choice creates. The only consequence of choice is awareness.

Most people think a decision is something that, once it's made, is there forever. They think a decision is set in concrete. So they need to have the right answer. The problem with this sort of point of view is that the very premise on which it is based is flawed. So therefore, if we think we have to make a decision, we are constantly looking for more evidence that it is the right decision, because otherwise it would be the wrong decision and we would be stuck with it. And, once you have made the decision that “you are on the right track”, you have to defend the direction you are going. You will always look to gather evidence that will prove you have made the right decision.

When you have the point of view that you must make the right decision, you have to conclude what the result is that you want, which means you have to judge you and make yourself wrong when it doesn't turn out that way.  When you are vested in the outcome, you put yourself in the place of “I need to make the right decision”. Then you have no choice. When you have the need to make the right decision, then all choices are controlled and subject to that point of view, because you always have to go into judgment as to whether or not you are making the right decision. Difficulties arise when unconscious decision making is used for important decisions that have long-term consequences. You can end up making sub-optimal decisions.

If you are vested in the outcome when you are making a decision -

  • you will always be in judgment of your decision and you blind yourself to all that actually is or could be.
  • you try to work out the right answer and you  try to contain everything where you can keep it moving in a direction you wish to go, or you have decided it should go, which creates limitation.
  • you can’t have any clarity about other possibilities because you are looking for a particular result.

Making a conscious choice in the present  is so much easier than that. Making a conscious choice is about the change you know needs to be here. There is no investment in the outcome and no idea of what might show up; there is only awareness of the energy. You recognise that every choice creates many future possibilities, not a single result. It is crucial to know the difference between choice and decision, because choice creates ever changing possibilities, whereas decision is always a cutting off of other possibilities.

Forecasting Possibilities

Even though the future can not truly be predicted, we can, however, use our awareness to forecast future possibilities. Forecasting possibilities means we're willing to look at the future and see what a choice is going to create. Our awareness is the tool to know what the future might look like.

The starting point is about being aware of what's going on out there in the world, what's happening now and what has occurred in recent times. This could be from recognising changes in the society, sciences, technology, environment and so on. We must constantly be in the question "What do these changes and innovations mean?" and  "What is the likely impacts of these changes and innovations? "

These questions are not supposed to forecast the future, they are being used to look at what's currently occurring. When we are asking these questions we aren't asking, "What will the future look like?" We are asking instead, "What choice do we have and what do we have to choose today to create the future?"

We have to create today in order to have what we want tomorrow

What creates the future is what we do today, in the present moment. The future requires choices and actions - now. Our choices and actions accumulate and have an impact on what the future will be. So, we need to ask - "What can we do now to prepare for future possibilities that will shape our life, our business and our future?"

So, to begin to create our future today, we have to embrace a new awareness of different possibilities that will not just transform our life or our business but also act as a catalyst to transform society and even the world. This is truly possible if we choose to expand our zone of awareness beyond our normal ways of thinking so that we can be on the alert for what is new and different, and envisage what the options and possibilities could be.

We have to become more aware of emerging trends, and  the innovations that are being generated in the world right now. We must expand our capacity to see the landscape from multiple angles and ascertain how we can capitalise on it.

We have to be willing to embrace change and consider the impact of emerging trends. Whenever and wherever we notice an anomaly or oddity, we must envision what the new landscape might be if what we are perceiving is a signal of powerful change. Most importantly, we must envisage how we might take advantage of the new possibilities.

To consciously create our future requires that we go to question - “What’s possible here? What choice do I have? What choice do I need to make here?", and most important we must ACT on it. We have to create today in order to have what we want in the future.

You Want To Go For What You Love

The people who love what they do and do it because it brings them joy are the ones who will create greater possibility and make money at it.  The energy you create from is what creates and generates your life.

If you could wake up every single day to do one thing to create your life and living, what would it be?

"Everyone has been made for some particular work, and the desire for that work has been put in every heart."     ------- Rumi

New Possibilities have no history!

Our assumptions and points of view determine how we create our life, our reality and our future. The way we perceive, judge, and react to events throughout the day is based on our assumptions and points of view, which then anchor us in our view of what reality is. When we don’t judge what’s right or wrong, every choice we make and every action we take can lead to new possibilities.

Imagine what your business and your life would be like if you could function without judgment, without reasons, or justification and create a life that goes beyond the limitations of what the rest of the world thinks is important.

Perhaps the biggest block to being successful is our point of view of right, wrong, good, or bad. When our mind is relentlessly going on about how wrong or how right things are, we diminish our ability to take action. And whenever we judge something, information that doesn’t already match our judgment cannot come into our awareness. When we have a fixed point of view that something is correct and right, or something is terrible and wrong, there is no room for something else to show up.

We have to be willing to change the points of view and beliefs that keep us moored in the limitation of this reality or nothing will change in our life or business.

5 Tips for Creating Your Own Future

What are you creating as your future? Most people don’t have any idea about what they would like to create as their future. In fact, it is all too common for many successful executives to create strategy for their business, but leave their personal future to chance.

It's more common for people to be quite passive about the future. They see the future as unknowable and an abstract event way out there, that is separate from them.  And for them, this is true; this is their reality. They are at the effect of change and never know what is going to happen next. They don't have awareness of emerging trends or what's going on in the world that could impact their future.

The main reason many people fall short of their own ability to consciously create their future is the same reason most companies fail to achieve their targets: they are stuck in the past or the present and cannot see ahead in developing a strategy that can lead and shape the future of new possibilities.

What if you could choose otherwise?  Here are some tips that will assure your success.

Your future is something you create with your choices. Every choice you make determines what your future can be. So when you make a choice, recognize what limitations are being generated with that choice.

2. Expand your awareness - It takes the willingness to be aware of everything, which allows you to perceive different possibilities. It also requires you to expand your awareness and develop clarity of vision to see beyond this contextual reality. If you are willing to have the awareness to know what is happening and where you are going, you will be able to consciously create your future and generate something different. As Lewis Carroll said: If you don't know where you are going, then any road will get you there.

3. Keeping an eye on the Big Picture - cultivate an ability to be aware of future trends and how these trends may affect you and how you can leverage off them. Rather than closing your eyes to forewarning indications and hoping that things don’t change too much, you must be willing to break with your fixed points of view and your conventional practices and discover different ways of seeing the world

4. Embrace Change - Be willing to recognise that changes in the future can be disruptive. The changes that are taking place globally are unprecedented in their scope. They are generating unlimited opportunities and inimitable threats. If you can perceive these changes as strategic advantages and opportunities, you will be more likely to recognize a new possibility.

5. Be on the creative edge in the present - Being on the creative edge means you're always in a mode of question, choice, possibility, and contribution. That's the place you need to live from. Your questions will assist you to see things through the lense of curiosity. Your choice creates the future every time you choose, you make a choice today and the future gets created by that choice. Possibilities are endless, only limited by your already formed points of view of what must be. A little girl with autism... can't talk, but her paintings have been sold to collectors for hundreds of dollars.

Iris Grace Halmshaw is autistic and struggles to express herself, but art has changed life for both the little girl and her family. Iris's autism affects her in many ways, from sensory issues with noise and fabrics she comes into contact with, to problems with basic social and tactile interactions with the world around her.

Iris was officially diagnosed as a child with autism, a condition that has made her unable to communicate except through the medium of art. She has a tendency to drift off into her own world, like many autistic children.  When Iris's parents introduced her to painting, they were hoping the activity would be a fun diversion and a way to get their autistic child to express herself.

But as soon as Iris picked up a brush, her parents were blown away by how she approached the painting. She shied away from doing simple paintings of houses or smiling stick figures and, instead, created colorful abstract pieces that appeared to express deep emotion. Her abstracts often depict particular moods or experiences after which they are titled, like Patience, Separation, and Immersion.

Many of Iris' paintings show an astonishingly mature interpretation of natural scenes, including waterfalls, fields and skies. to Professor Allan Snyder from the Centre for the Mind at the Australian National University, people like Iris are able to unlock the hidden wells of potential that lie in all of us, but are rarely accessed.

"I think it's possible for a perfectly normal person to have access to these abilities," he says. "[But] savants can't usually tell us how they do what they do. It just comes to them."

No one and nothing is more valuable than your consciousness and your choice

Kenyan Julius Yego secured a gold medal at the World Athletics Championships in Beijing in javelin. His throw of 92.72m won the competition by four meters, and was not far away from the current world record of 98.48m. What is remarkable is that Yego is almost entirely self-taught. He developed his capacity to throw javelin and for receiving everything that is possible from 'YouTube' videos. “I watched YouTube and it really paid off for me, to see the training techniques and skills they are using,” Yego told CNN. “I do not have a coach, my inspiration comes from within.”

Everybody in Kenya is a runner,  which means that there aren’t that many coaches who can train those who are interested in other disciplines, such as the javelin. Julius had to incorporate awareness to create something greater for himself. His desire to be the best had created inspiration, that which brought him to an awareness of what he always thought was possible. Julius made the choice to be the best and he became aware of what he could be and do different by watching the Youtube training videos.

This is how he started creating his life – the awareness of different possibilities, so that he had the perception, so that he had the receiving, so that he had the knowing, which allowed him the choices, the possibilities, and the questions that contributed to actually having the life he would like to have.

Julius Yego demonstrated that "If we are inspired we will be able to see what others have been unwilling to receive." He truly proved that when we’re on the edge of creation with our life, then we’re never going to divorce awareness to create something.

To develop the capacity for receiving everything that is possible for you, ask “What can I do or be today that will inspire me?” Then you can ask questions. "What would it take for me to succeed? What do I need to be aware of here? What can I change? What question can I ask that will change this? What else is possible?"

If you start asking for, “What else is possible here?” you will have a little more awareness in the knowing, and just as much perception. You will also receive more information, which will take all of that, put it together, and make it a more substantial possibility, which gives you choice and questions to create different possibilities.
